The location is ideal for making the most of the coast. Just a short stroll from the park brings you to Tywyn’s long, sandy beach, perfect for walking, paddling or simply sitting back and enjoying the sea views. On clear days, you might even spot dolphins out in the bay, and the sunsets here are often a highlight of any stay. The town itself is around a 15-minute walk, offering a good range of independent shops, cafés and traditional pubs, along with useful amenities and a small cinema.
Tywyn is also home to the Talyllyn Railway, a historic narrow-gauge steam railway that winds its way into the countryside and is well worth a visit. For those keen to explore further, the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities. The southern edge of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park is close by, with walking routes to suit all abilities, including the impressive Cadair Idris for more experienced hikers. The coastline in both directions is dotted with quiet beaches and pretty villages, while inland you’ll find scenic drives, woodland walks and peaceful valleys.
Whether you’re looking for a traditional seaside break or a base to explore this beautiful part of Wales, this well-placed caravan offers a straightforward, comfortable place to return to at the end of the day.
